Premier

Mitch Davidoff
Victoria native Mitch Davidoff built his foundation in the game through local baseball programs before competing at four collegiate programs—Tacoma Community College; Yakima Valley Community College; Patten University in California; and Central Christian University in Kansas, where he earned a degree in Business Management. Mitch has previously coached with both the Victoria Mariners and the Victoria Eagles and was the Greater Victoria Baseball Association’s Technical Director for 5 years. He currently serves as the BC Head Coach for the Pacific Northwest Regional games in Washington State, and he is in his 11th year as Director of Baseball Operations at the Lambrick Park High School Baseball/Softball Academy. In 2024, he was recognized by the Canadian Baseball Network as one of the top influencers in the sport nationwide and most recently, selected to coach in the 2025 Canadian Futures Showcase at Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON.

Dave Auger
Dave Auger has been an integral part of the Victoria Eagles organization since its inception in 2010. In 2019, he managed the JP Eagles to a BCJPBL Championship. In 2025, Dave was named the Defensive Coordinator for the Eagles where he worked with all three teams. He also supported the coaching staff as assistant coach for both Premier and Junior Premier teams throughout the season. With 15+ years of continuous service, Dave brings stability and expertise to every Eagles program he touches - always with a focus on developing talent and fostering a winning culture. His ability to transition seamlessly between on-field instruction, tactical planning, and cross-team collaboration has been key to the Eagle's success.

Scott Smith
Born and raised in Victoria, Scott Smith has played baseball all his life. He represented Team BC twice—securing a Western Championship and a National Championship under Canadian baseball legend Walt Burrows—and went on to play collegiately at Green River Community College in Washington State. After college, he spent a season as a player/coach with the Goodwood Baseball Club in Adelaide, Australia. Scott then managed the Junior Premier Mariners for 13 seasons, leading them to the BCJPBL Championship in 2012, and has served as an instructor with Batters Box Canada and Assistant Coach for the Eagles Premier team since 2022. Scott combines a lifetime of playing experience with a proven coaching résumé that spans local, national, and international stages. His focus on fundamentals, paired with advanced skill development and a championship mindset, has helped cultivate high-performance athletes across every program he’s touched.

Jason Gibson
Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Jason grew up playing for the Victoria Mariners Junior Premier and Premier high school teams. As a high-school junior he earned a spot on Team Canada’s 30-man roster, then secured a scholarship to Central Arizona College before transferring to Panola Junior College and ultimately landing a Division I NCAA scholarship at McNeese State University. After graduation, he joined the Triple Play Hornets in Seattle, winning the 2009 West Coast Series Championship, was invited to the Texas All-Star Game, and spent two seasons with the Okotoks Dawgs in the Western Major Baseball League. Since 2023, Jason has served as the Pitching Coach for the Victoria Eagles Premier Team. Jason blends local roots with international experience to develop elite pitchers. He emphasizes arm health, pitch sequencing, and mental preparation, helping athletes translate practice reps into game-day confidence.
Junior Premier

Josh Campbell
Josh Campbell grew up in Victoria, British Columbia, where his passion for baseball began on community diamonds and high-school fields. He expanded his playing career with two seasons at Treasure Valley Community College in Oregon before returning home to channel that experience into coaching and athlete performance. Over the past decade, Josh has honed his expertise both on the diamond and in the weight room, guiding baseball players through skill development and strength-and-conditioning programs. Most recently, he served as Assistant Coach for the Victoria Eagles Premier team for two seasons while earning his Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus on Strength and Conditioning. His background as a college athlete informs his approach to mechanics and skill instruction. He emphasizes injury prevention and long-term athletic development while his strength-and-conditioning expertise ensures players build resilience, power, and mobility that translate directly to improved game-day results.

Tim Holyk
Tim grew up in Nanaimo, BC where he played in the PBL for the Parksville Royals. Tim then earned a scholarship to Miles Community College and then another scholarship to attend Cumberland University. For Summer ball he was able to represent his home town Nanaimo NightOwls and most recently (this summer) Tim signed with the Branford Red Sox of the IBL, and after his tremendous start with the team he was signed to the Frontier League with the Ottawa Titans. Tim is joining the Eagles as a hitting instructor and will help all 3 teams throughout the 2025 Fall and 2026 Winter training before returning to Branford. He will also join the Junior team as assistant coach for Fall Ball. As Tim continues to balance early coaching duties with professional playing opportunities, we are confident in his ability to elevate offensive development at every level in the club.
Bantam

Jay WIllow
Jason Willow is a Victoria native whose baseball journey blends elite playing experience with proven coaching acumen. After four seasons of BC Premier Baseball with the Victoria Mariners, he earned selection to the Canadian Junior National Team—competing at the 2017 U-18 World Championships—and was drafted in the 24th round (728th overall) by the Baltimore Orioles. He then enjoyed a five-year NCAA Division I career at UC Santa Barbara before joining the Victoria Eagles coaching staff. Prior to taking the helm of the 2025 Bantam team, Jason was an assistant coach of the Premier Eagles for two seasons. Jay brings a blend of elite playing pedigree and specialized instruction to his coaching role.
