Eagles announce Tim Holyk as Manager of the 2027 Premier Eagles

The Victoria Eagles Baseball Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Holyk as Manager of the 2027 Premier Eagles.

Tim grew up in Nanaimo, B.C., where he played in the BC Premier Baseball League for the Parksville Royals. He earned a roster spot as a walk on with the Miles Community College Pioneers and won a scholarship in his second year there. He then enjoyed a two year scholarship while playing for Cumberland University Phoenix squad. In summer ball, Tim represented his hometown Nanaimo NightOwls in the WCL, and most recently, in the summers of 2025 and 2026, he played for the Brantford Red Sox of the Intercounty Baseball League in southern Ontario. After a tremendous start with the team, he was signed by the Ottawa Titans in the prestigious Frontier League, an official MLB Partner with 18 teams in the US and Canada.

Tim’s coaching philosophy centers on developing character, accountability, and leadership alongside on-field skills, and he is committed to passing on the lessons he has learned over 15 years in high school, collegiate, and professional baseball. Having called Victoria home for the past two years, he has come to know the local baseball landscape well and believes the Eagles have the potential to grow into one of the top programs in the country. He places a strong emphasis on culture, team-first values, and preparing players for the transition from high school to collegiate baseball and beyond, all while maintaining open communication with families throughout the process.

Jeremy Campbell, General Manager of the Victoria Eagles, welcomed the appointment: “Tim brings a rare combination of energy, work ethic, and baseball knowledge to our organization. He has years of experience at the professional level and he offers our players a perspective they don’t often get access to. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our Eagles staff, and excited for what he’ll bring as Manager of the Premier Eagles in 2027.”
