Premier Eagles Punch Ticket to Okotoks After Strong Showing at BC Regional Qualifier
The Victoria Eagles are officially heading to the Baseball Canada National Championships after delivering a compose and resilient performance at the BC Regional Qualifier this past weekend at McLeod Athletic Park.
Competing against some of the province’s top programs, the Eagles secured their berth to the 2026 National Championship in Okotoks, Alberta, as part of Baseball Canada’s new #TheRoadToOkotoks qualification pathway where they will now compete for the Morneau Cup.
BC Regional Qualifier — Final Standings
- 1st – Langley Blaze
- 2nd – Abbotsford Cardinals
- 3rd – Victoria Eaglesa
- 4th – UBC Thunder

Across four days of competition, the Eagles showcased the qualities that have defined their 2026 season:

Next Stop: Okotoks
The Eagles now advance to the 2026 Baseball Canada National Championship, hosted July 14–19 at the world‑class Seaman Stadium complex in Okotoks, Alberta — home of the Okotoks Dawgs.
The event will bring together 16 of the top programs in the country, each having earned their place through regional qualification. For the Eagles, it’s an opportunity to represent Vancouver Island, the Capital Region, and the entire BC baseball community on the national stage.
