5 Eagles selected to attend Canadian Futures Showcase

Five Victoria Eagles have been selected to attend the 2025 Canadian Futures Showcase in Toronto September 16-19.

Austin Blair (RHP) will return for his second year as a returning Junior National Team member from 2024. Joining him are Kayden Militello (RHP),Connor Simpson (C), Will Zielinski (3B). Mitch Davidoff has been selected to attend as a Coach for the event. 

The Canadian Futures Showcase is a national amateur baseball showcase held each September and hosted by the Blue Jays Baseball Academy. The goal is to provide a showcase opportunity for the best amateur baseball players born in Canada, with draft and college eligibility. It acts to centralize the best Canadian baseball players, with the intention of exposing them to as many MLB scouts and college recruiters as possible. Visit the Canadian Futures Showcase Website.
