These Victoria Eagles will compete in the Canada Cup in Kindersley, Saskatchewan August 11-16 and features the country’s elite 17-and-under players. Scouts from all 30 Major League Baseball teams made the trek to Kindersley to take in the action, and at the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft in June, their teams selected 11 players who featured at last year’s event.

In addition to these Eagles players, Victoria Eagles' Manager and Director of Player Promotion Gautam Srivastava was named to this year's BC Selects Coaching Staff. Gautam will have the honor to coach alongside long time coaches of the Selects program Bill Green from Coquitlam, Doug Mathieson from the Langley Blaze, and John Haar from the North Shore Twins.
